Wow. What an intriguing image. Really interesting. Like that spot lighting and the colour temperature too. Personally I think it would be stronger in a square crop, losing from the left side only, so his back is near the left edge and he's facing into the main space of the image. Band name could fit in at lower right or upper right. But works well as is too.

I like the image, especially the intimacy of the up-close crop. I think the extremely high contrast works well to really reduce the face to it's essence and yet still enough detail to recognise it clearly. Like the red and black too. All good. Something I can absolutely see on a real album cover.

This works! It's absolutely something I'd expect to see on a real album cover. I like your band name, doesn't sound half as contrived and unlikely as most in the challenge (though I know most are tongue in cheek). I like the image too, oddly enough.

I like the image a lot - the way so much of it is dark except for the hand really pulls focus to the hand and gun and yet there's still detail in the jacket and smoke too. The text positioning works though I think the band name would be better un-angled, myself.

Cool picture! Not sure the positioning of the text worls that well - just doesn't feel balanced. I can see you've centred it ovre the arms of the sculpture but it doesn't work well there for me. The image itself I think is just great - great light, wonderfully quirky silhouette subject with interesting little details like part of a bike, the ships behind and so on.

I quite like the fact that the band name isn't so desperately linked to the image. The image does relate well to the album title. I like it. The lighting on that leaf is lovely even though I'm not so keen on the slighly odd cut-out feel of the leaf edge.
