Blue Rockets Over the Red Riverby goodtempoComment: Great capture!
I think I'd prefer this in portrait orientation with the two black side areas cropped right out. The two white flares from the bottom would also look better in a portrait image I think. |

Getting rid of the bluesby ParentxComment: I was gonna do this shot, using my hub as the model - but time and circumstances didn't allow it...
I am glad I didn't as I am pretty sure your capture would be better.
I'd actually prefer this if the skin was not desaturated. Makes the model look a bit, well, zombie-like!
Nice composition - it, ahem, certainly leads your eyes/ mind to what is about to be revealed! LOL |

Blueberry Splash by JackoComment: Great idea and great capture!
Compositionally it feels too low in the frame - I appreciate it's probably cropped that way to include the droplets/ corona but it just feels a little too tightly cropped at the bottom to me.
Some of the whites seem a little blown out, though that could be my monitor which doesn't have a high enough gamut to see the very whitest and very blackest ranges. |

My Babies' Bluesby Wheeler1992Comment: Way too out of focus. It seems your camera is not capable of focusing at this close a range. Either stick to shots that the camera is capable of or take the shot from a distance and crop down to what you want (losing resolution, of course).
Colour saturation seems good, it's a nice strong blue.
The shape of the light reflection in their eyes is also nicely round. |

Old Blue-Eyeby IsaacComment: I don't wish to offend - but this is not at all attractive to look at. I had to make myself look again to score and to comment because I thought it only fair to comment when giving a low score.
This shot highlights very oily skin (needs dabbing with a tissue or something), blood vessels in the eye whites, and what seems to be pretty greasy hair.
I doubt the model comes across that way in real life but with such a close we can see more than we might notice in RL.
I have tried to state my thoughts politely but since what I am saying has the potential to offend, please feel welcome to write and ask me to delete the comment before the voting finishes if you so wish.

River Fog Risingby JakComment: Too little of the structure and land included = weak composition.
Nice capture in fog - makes me think of silence. |

Pac-Man bluesby MagsCoyoteComment: Would score higher if there wasn't something blocking the entire lower right corner. This may be the player but we can't see that so it adds nothing to the shot but detracts from the pac man screen. |

A tribute to my partner´s blue eyesby bcncrazyComment: Way too out of focus. It seems your camera is not capable of focusing at this close a range. Either stick to shots that the camera is capable of or take the shot from a distance and crop down to what you want (losing resolution, of course).
Also the light isn't complimenting her any - it's highlighting a shiny forehead and the bags beneath the eyes. This could be solved by softer lighting and/ or foundation powder!
:)
Pretty eyes she has though! |

Blue Sky, Blue Spruce, White Snowby alanfreedComment: I guess the white must be snow on a hill but each time I look at this it just appears to me that the bottom of the picture hasn't loaded properly.
Because of the way in which it cuts off the bottoms of the trees in the shot it just doesn't seem right. It seems to be blocking my natural view rather than adding to the shot.
The sky is nicely captured. |
