Love at First Flightby goodtempoComment: Very professional - I imagine some will decide you don't deserve a high score just because you were "lucky" enough to capture art created by someone else. I disagree. Composition within the frame, scale and exposure all combine to make this a postcard perfect entry. |

Jackby TarbiniComment: Thanks to Bob for highlighting this. It's one I didn't reach when viewing At Rest entries - I got through about half and commented on those I liked.
This is a lovely image - fantastic use of DOF, great low perspective, strong off-centre composition, great use of diagonal. Colour feels a little over-saturated but that's a minor point.

When all you need is a Spoonby arnitComment: LOL at using her (inaccurate) lyrics but I do love the image - fantastic composition and great lighting. Reflections, diagonal, highlights... all great. |

Resting Hummingbird.by jetstarComment: Nice use of low DOF. Good composition and I like the way the angle of the beak and branch mirror each other. |

Afternoon Napby studio1graphicsComment: Nice idea and mostly works. Main neg- for me is that messy background at the left with part of the bedside cabinet. |

My Sleeping-Beautyby NazgulComment: I like the way that lock of hair creates a flowing diagonal across the frame. Nice lighting and nice tight framing. |

big flirtby indigo997Comment: Beautifully captured and what a great composition for this kind of image! Nice use of negative space and I like the way you haven't photographed it in it's natural environment but used the cream backdrop to really showcase the colours.
Not sure how well this really conveys challenge topic but a great image! |
