The Roomby MiekaComment: This is great - it really does make me look and look and notice details and wonder about the person living in this room. Spot on choice to go for black and white. Lighting works well for me. |

Still for Milleniaby sagestudioComment: Nice! I'd crop a little from the left to get a stronger balance - the diagonal line would sit more closely on the left vertical third line - which i think would strengthen composition in this case. |

Tea For Oneby kostiaComment: I recently went to Brugges and in one tea house enjoyed a tea which was based on steamed japanese tea with rose petals, blue bottle petals and mango - or something like that. The aroma was very subtle and yet had quite a strong impact. This image reminds me of it.
The position of the teapot - particularly the lid - feels tilted. |

Vasesby ZalComment: The composition is excellent and the shape of the negative space is just as important as the shapes (and colours) of the objects. I like this very much - I think you've got the balance just right. |

Green on Blue on Greenby sonasandComment: Interesting use of two strong main colours. Non centred composition is a good idea but the bowl sits too close to edge of frame at left and even more so at top for my tastes - needs space within the frame. |

Wine is A Gracious Creatureby vrphotosComment: Nice complimentary background both in terms of surface and backdrop. Lighting strong but resulting highlight shapes work reasonable well. Would prefer corkscrew not to be cropped. |

Surrogate Motherby deafwolfComment: Ha ha ha - I like this a lot - it's nice to see an image with a silly story to it - which can be discerned without the title and still find the photo visually appealing to boot. |

Urban Rainby BilianaComment: What gorgeous colours - and I love the use of just three main colours - lime green, golden orange-brown and metallic grey. Composition isn't quite right for me - perhaps having the leaf at an angle might be interesting? Would also like more even lighting rather than the whiter L-shaped reflection towards the top right.
Nice image! |
