Sin Cityby terjeComment: Nice tilt = strong composition with some great diagonals and very strong leading lines. Nice blues to the sky too. Really nice. |

UFO?by microComment: Nice colour cast and exellent composition - the tones and the contrast between dark and light work well for me. |

Hypnotic spinby naomikComment: Intriguing and a clever use of selective desat (so overused on DPC but here, perfect for the subject matter). Nice lighting too. |

Ring of Fire by NazgulComment: Wow, nicely done - good lassoo technique to achieve that wonderfully accurate circle and great lighting too - the man and the texture of the surface he is standing on our nice and clear against that white ring. There seems to be quite a strong red halo around him, is that an artifact of the light or long exposure? I don't know much about long exposure, hence my asking it as a question. |

Underneathby samtrundleComment: You may not have decided whether you like it but I have - I want to reach out and touch it - that's gotta be good in a challenge on textures, surely? :o) |

Meditationby vasilkovayaComment: Absolutely beautiful light halos around their bodies - just brings out the detail of their fur beautifully. The fact that they have their backs to us and one has such an animated pose makes it almost impossible not to anthropomorphise and imagine two friends chatting excitedly about life. The pure black background works well to isolate the two individuals. 9 |

Madame Butterflyby Patents4uComment: What a beautiful image with such perfect depth of field and such exquisite detail in that narrow field. Wonderful composition, lovely backdrop. 10 |

Grasping Freeby aznymComment: I love that there are two distinct stories of independence in this image in the young child and the loved-up couple. Only problem is that there is so much going on in the background that the foreground loses some of it's impact. A really shallow DOF might have made this less of an issue. 7 |
