Isolatedby tonyvComment: Pretty landscape and taken under some nice light. Main problem for me is that distance makes it too difficult to discern any detail in the settlement. I either want to see more detail there or not have it interrupt the landscape at all. As it is it just kind of makes it a bit messy. You have some nice detail in the sky, I think it would be stronger if you used a polarising filter to darken up the blues and bring out contrast between the clouds and the sky. |

Seeking Hidden Powerby IceRockComment: Oh dear, where is my mind? I looked at this and my first thought was "oh look, someone's underwear got frozen out on the washing line!". Then I realised it was a chain with some kind of pennants hanging from it. I don't think I understand it's significance to the challenge though I can see how the geezer or vent behind is powerful and the title talks about seeking power. I don't understand fully but the image is intriguing. |

Faith by mciComment: Simple, yet very strong. You may get some comments referring to this as cliched but the reason some things become a cliche is because they are so strong at conveying a concept or message that they become shorthand for doing so. Doesn't make them any less effective at doing so. Really nice sharp edges to the silhouette, a good composition and nice colour range in the background. |

All-in-one: the original sinby np22saComment: Love shallow DOF. This is quite clever - the more compelling subject is the woman but the one in focus is the apple that tempts her. I like how that makes the woman an anonymous "everywoman" figure. Lighting seems a bit harsh leading to loss of detail around edges of fingers but otherwise strong. |

Envious of Their Loveby Man_Called_HorseComment: This must have been so much fun to do! It has certainly made me smile! I think it's one of those images that works well on first viewing because of the entertainment value but I can't imagine it being one I'd come back to again and again. Fun though! |

American Idiot (pride)by sacredspiritComment: Controversial! I won't get political about it but I will say kudos for the courage in presenting an image that's going to garner a LOT of angry reaction. Very grainy, I'm assuming that's intentional? In terms of composition I really like the sweep of the barbed wire but find the positioning of the bullets a bit too centred. |

Lusty Snails by PhilipDyerComment: ROFL did you put one confused snail ontop of the other? Nice detail and nice clean background but I'm not sure Mr Top Guy is going to get anywhere through Mr Bottom Guy's shell! :o) |
