Water Bears!by fisheyeComment: I spent some time last year and this year trying to capture some images of kids at the underwater aquarium glass! Not as easy as it looks to get a strong image! This one is wonderful! |

Out of Waterby zeuszenComment: Lovely lighting really focuses the attention on a beautiful little detail of nature. Composition works well too. |

Sheby elsapoComment: What a beautiful portrait! It's simplicity belies the skill taken to achieve such a strong composition (cropped just right to make it really immediate and intimate), the lighting, the wonderful eye contact and the perfect background. I cannot fault a single thing. Usually I don't like such smoothed skin effects but it's all spot on here. One of the most striking portraits I've seen for a long time. And she's beautiful! |

Tufa Towers on Mono Lakeby 2mccsComment: At first glance this image didn't appeal but then I looked and looked and it just drew me in. I really like the colour palette - browns, beiges, whites and shades of blue. It's a very restful colour palette and one I see more and more in designer interiors! Secondly, the composition really works with the jagged forms on shore piercing the horizon as they do. Lastly, gotta love those lenticular cloud formations - those are very cool! |
