The Lion Sleeps Tonightby StuckOnTheFarmComment: Beautiful portrait - the composition, with it's tight crop excluding some of his head really works - his own body is almost like a frame to the details of his face and front paw - makes the viewer feel like we're right there with him. |

Still Lifeby owenComment: Beautiful - the complete absence of any distracting detail in the water really focuses attention on the bird, reflection and abstract shapes of the image too. |

Frost in Llanfihangelby nootComment: What an incredible subject - well found/ chosen! The overwhelming mid-tone grey of the image really focuses attention on the shapes and details. Interesting. |

Corridorby boodComment: Absolutely perfect composition - those leading lines and clean, clean surfaces are very striking - the assymetry of the lone person draws the eyes in. Works precisely because it's such an usual, geometric composition using more uncluttered, almost negative space than expected. |

Sky on Fireby davidlinderComment: Like the idea to bring something more to this kind of image by creating such a striking foreground - also makes more of a story of a night party on the beach! |

See No Evil by librodoComment: Fantastic up-close-and-personal portrait with wonderful sharpness. Do like the high contrast but perhaps it's a touch too high - the whites seem a little harsh. But perhaps that was the intention. |
