I liked this image, sorry it didn't do better overall. I like the colors and the interesting path of the road. I guess I am just a sucker for strong leading lines and roads!! The sky is quite nice too.

Didn't get around to commenting on this in the challenge....

Funny thing is the thumb nail for this image jumped out at me right away. It was one of the fist images I viewed in the challenge. But, I didn't like it as much full size.... something got a bit lost from thumbnail to full size. I think stainless is really hard to photograph, and maybe that is the issue. The composition of the shot was interesting but the relationship of the background to the subject got muddied.

I liked this image and gave it a "7". I liked the iridescent look to the beads and I know how hard it can be to get a good image of this type of subject. Obviously the rest of the voters didn't appreciate it, but I want you to know I did!

My initial reaction to this image was not real positive, but then I took into account that this is an ART challenge and I figured that anyone who took the time to enter a "non-traditional" photo was in fact being artistic! So I think the jarringness (is that a word?) of the photo is part of your intended process.

I would suggest that you clone out your sensor dust in the future. The spots are a bit distracting.

This one just makes me cringe...not the photo, but the subject! A very lifelike image and the eye just draws you into the center of the image.... So happy I'm only seeing this one though my computer screen!

hmmm googled the word murmuration, a flock of starlings. Not sure if this IS a flock of starlings or if it is something representing a flock. Could be textured granite too.... I think if there was some point of reference in this image it would be stronger in my opinion. Something that gave a clue to the scale would help me understand the image better.

Ha Ha, I know what you mean. I wish for snow sometimes too, but only get rain, lots and lots of rain! This is a nice serene place. It would be fun to photograph early or late in the day and to play with the reflection in the upper pool.
