Long time ago now I remarked that nobody photographs windows, enchanted portals, like you do. I still think that. This essay is so perfectly judged that it's breathtaking. There's a title, "Sigh". This essay is a sigh among the shouting. Thank you.

I love photographs because a few rare souls like you get to carry a camera and do it for love.
Nobody strips photography to its essence like you do. If the authorities ever introduce camera control (and I often think they should), you can have an unlimited carry permit.

Congratulations. I'm seeing this for the first time only now. I'm admiring how much this picture profits by having the girl heading out of the frame, rather than the more conventional into the frame. I always admire the unconventional, even if it's subtle rather than confounding. Sometimes even more so. Thank you.

Yes, Ben. This is one that pays homage to actual street photography, rather than photographs taken in the street. It's the incongruities and juxtapositions and anomalies and most of all the tiny frozen cymbal crashes of unique moments that make street real street.

t'would've been my hero had I looked during voting. But I'm looking only now, and it is anyway. Another 10 would have made bugger all difference anyway.

I sometimes wonder if I'm sad or glad that most folks here don't grasp just how good your stuff is. Probably glad, on balance. Think what an unholy balls-up a DPC challenge called, "In the style of Nick Hinch" would be. But there could be only one entry, really. Cheers, big ears.
