Lest I forgetby Ecce_SignumComment: You won't forget. But it's nice that you take regular opportunities to say it. Reminds lots of other people to not forget either. |

by aznymComment: Oh! I feel I am perched above the canopy of the rainforest. Above even the whispy low clouds trailing their damp coattails through the highest branches. Some network of cables supports me as I dangle between the two worlds. It's wet and the air is heavy and slow, like breathing under water. I like it up here. :-) |

websby krnodilComment: I'm not so crazy about the zoneplate stuff as I am about the pinhole. I don't exactly know why. It's just a feeling that it's neither one thing nor the other; not bad enough to be good, if you know what I mean? I think I need to see some more of them. I'm headed to your portfolio now, hoping to see some other examples.
Oh, I'm back already. There's some terrific shots there (including two that I'd commented on thinking they were pinholes). I know nothing, apparently. I guess it's just this shot that I'm not so crazy about. Still don't know why. Message edited by author 2009-04-01 09:07:45. |

Reflectionby trevytrevComment: It's much more elegant than any effect I can get with my two home made pinholes. I think I got all the distances & dimensions wrong.
A particularly lovely part of this is the difference between the upper and lower (i.e. reflected) versions of the scene. |

. . .by krnodilComment: It's lovely. Great comment from Tom. I won't try to top it. Except the bed part ... it's not late at all way round on this side. |

A Patch of Blueby bvyComment: That's beautiful. It takes some unravelling, which is of course a good thing. The patch of blue, the bars effect and the high wall all together made me think of a prison. But I think it's only a figurative prison. |

tunnelby cmtcComment: Yes, a worthy first post. Gives us all something to shoot for (pardon the pun). It's a very cool sci-fi effect. Or maybe this is what it look like when you die. You know, instead of the bright white light and the celestial music. |

Birdsby chuckieroComment: This is wonderful. As if the earth shifted while they were all in flight. White birds in a black sky; a touch of M C Escher, and a lovely kind of hint at the glorious enigma of the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. 10. And the Order of the Thumb:

Cavalry in motionby TitiaComment: I thought of T E Lawrence and the Seven Pillars of Wisdom. It's a beautiful photograph. 9. |
