Girl in Plazaby brayburnComment: Wonderful movement and elan. Also quite perfect ordering of the tones to create an open-closed world for your leading lady. It's a lovely, intuitive real-life photograph, and a blessed relief among all these ponderous blunt instruments. |

Sophia Flewby RKTComment: Had no time to vote or even look before now.
Deb, Don, Andre, Timothy. What dinner party!
I'm late, but save a seat for me. |

Which Way to the Smoke Shop?by muur88Comment: You are muur88. Don't lie to me, you are! For God's sake get a proper job and stop wasting your life like this. These people deserve a normal life; how can you drag them around with you in this way? It's inhuman. It's abuse. Let it go, man! |

I Try to Run, but My Feet Won't Moveby karmatComment: Posthumous ribbon? Oh Karma, I am most terribly sorry. I'd like to be able to tell you it will work out for the best, but alas, I'm afraid this is almost invariably fatal. May I suggest that you say your goodbyes to any remaining 'straight' photography friends you may have now, before the symptoms become too advanced? It's normally a very rapid spiral into the abyss from this point. And once again, please accept my deepest, deepest sympathies. |

REM Cloudsby pointandshootComment: Everybody wants assurances, it appears. "Please Sir, I'm not sure what it is, so I don't know what to think!"
Poor babies. Go back to sleep; the bad monster will be gone in the morning. |

Boat in a Moatby pointandshootComment: Originally posted by pointandshoot: This technique is probably closer to painting than photography. |
Yes it is. And the result looks like a Turner painting. It has that wonderful indolent texture that he had, like an Arcadian tapestry done by an angel in a dream. The light is especially Turneresque. It's lovely. |
