Last night's conversationby aznymComment: Thank you. Sublime.
There are half a dozen very fine photographs in this challenge, and yours is my pick as the best of them. |

Trinityby posthumousComment: Trinity trouvé? I applaud both photograph and perception: can't have one without the other. My top pick. |

at the cafeby JutildaComment: Rich and dark ... just how I like my coffee, and my friends. Just kidding; I actually prefer my coffee with a little milk. |

Removedby tangueraComment: This was so nearly brilliant – I so rarely do this because I think it's insufferably presumptuous, but alas I'm going to do it anyway. The bottom 25% diminishes the photograph. It begged, pleaded, howled, wheedled and entreated for a squarish crop from the top, ending just at the guy's right knee (his actual knee not his shadow knee). I never saw a picture that could not be improved by the addition of a little implication and ambiguity. Well, hardly ever.
Having blurted all that probably unwelcome bile upon you, let me say I still make it my pick as clear best of the challenge, although I'm still rolling the bottom bit off my screen as I savour it. |
