bring out yer deadby bspurgeonComment: I love looking at offhand photographs taken with low-fidelity gear. They're nearly always far more interesting, and ultimately much better photographs too, than the inconsequential crap that most Photographers Capture with Cameras. Reachby daisydavidComment: Excellent, John! I have just stepped up from digital to 120 film myself, and now I understand why some guitarists prefer to use valve amplifiers. I'll be watching for more of your stuff, 'cause I love it. |

All Hallow's Eveby posthumousComment: Never got to comments, but I did vote. This was equal top score for me, with jmritz. Please consider this a posthumous accolade. |

Plant Remainsby Carlo21Comment: Astoundingly convincing anthropomorphography, and beautifully rendered too. 10, and my top pick in the challenge. Thank you. |

ponderby daisydavidComment: I was slightly surprised that I liked this as much as I do. The title does it justice, because it repays a longer look. If (to quote posthumous) the viewer first empties the mind, this photograph has a remarkable capacity to fill it afresh. Repeat, and it happens again in a quite different way. Repeat once more, and ditto. Ad infinitum, presumably. That's remarkable, and testament to the sensory durability of the photograph. Top two pick for me. Thank you. |
