It's Cape Town's main commercial shipping port visible in the background. Also Table Mountain on the left (mostly offstage), Lion's Head centre, and Signal Hill to the right. It's a full house. |

notby herfotomanComment: I don't see why 'not'. It's very interesting. A portrait in profile has a long history of legitimacy, and they're still fun these centuries later. Thank you. |

"The Brother"by snapturtleComment: Is this a very good portrait because he looks like a very nice bloke, or does he look like a very nice bloke because it's such a very good portrait? Either way, you did a great job here. Thank you. |

Rain or Shineby jagarComment: Clever; nearly a wee bit twee, but you just avoided it! Reminds me of the golden age of musical cinema, for some reason. So I expect that he might suddenly start singing about how high the corn is, or something. But I am toying with a very fine photograph so I'll shut up and just say I really enjoyed your picture and I thank you for it. |

Three Generationsby dtremainComment: Beautiful portrait, filled with life and love. How a family portrait ought to be, but rarely is at least to this splendid level. Thank you (and I bet they thanked you, too). |
