Don't like the lighting of this. It is too flat. The highlight is on the ear/hair and not the face. Like the crop/positioning. Maybe bouncing some light back in the face would work better.

There is absolutely nothing that shows me that a face is painted. DOF is very narrow, lighting balance is too dark and the colors don't pop.

Toning is a bit flat, subject centered and doubt between full face or more cutt-off. A more panoramic crop, with the emphasize on the eyes and stronger light balance would have worked better for me.

I like the idea here, but it is to clear in the balance of the image that it is a sortof studio setup. Softer light might have worked better. + less on the background and less on the arms. Especially the neck is pretty bright and draws the eye out of the face. Miss some light in the closest eye (bounce it back in with a reflector)
