This is a wonderful image of joy and happiness. I like the coloration job you've done with it. My only complaint is I'm not seeing the connection to the challenge with the camera angle (level instead of ground up) and approach you've taken. You've made some connection I cannot see or feel. Regardless, I'm sure this will make a nice addition as a family image to cherish forever. Good luck in the challenge.

Many, MANY, tree shots in this challenge. You did great with this one! The way you composed this with the main tree going from bottom right to center does a wonderful job of leading the viewer to the top of the trees and into that rich blue sky. I can almost picture myself being there. Nice job on a simple subject. Good luck in the challenge.

This is great! I love your take on the challenge theme. I don't know if you rotated on purpose to lose something in the image upper left, or if you did it intentionally to add a unique feel to the photo. Either way it works. B/W is the best choice here as the green in the background trees would have been distracting. Very nice. Good luck in the challenge.

Ok - I needed a title here to figure out what it is. That's fine, it's a great image. Funky looking drinking fountain. This has a bit of an abstract feel to it and you've done a great job in composing it! The falling water drops add a sense of movement and give you a sense of being there. Hope you didn't get your camera wet! ;^) Congrats and good luck on the challenge.

Congratulations on finding a unique perspective for this challenge. By incorporating the grass (sand dunes I take it) you've identified ground level. The sun coming thru below the grassline is very cool, I like the starburst. Nice use of angles to offset the blue - focus really isn't a major issue with an image like this - exposure & lighting are very good. Good luck on the challenge.

Hey - Did you know the horizon is tilted? ;^) Nice image. I like the foreground grass and then the barge in the background. The soaring seagulls add a nice touch as well. Take care.

Great color and DOF! Wonder what a tight crop of this with just the eyes and beak would look like? Did you consider a minor adjustment in post-processing to remove the double catchlights in the eyes?
