This is an interesting photo. One thing hard to grasp is the scale of the ice. I have a feeling that the chunks of ice are pretty large, but without anything to give it context (boat, person, etc...) it's hard to know.

Another cool factor in this image is the high contrast created by the bright whites and the dark shadows.

This is a nice shot and probably would have done "OK" in the challenge. It's funny, I've done a nearly identical shot for some stock work and the thing that jumped out at me was the dirt that shows up on the black keys. ;^) That might have cost you a point or two... One other consideration - have you mirrored this? The eye tends to be more natural/comfortable to go left to right (Western culture thing I guess).

Wonderful perspective shot here. I'd imagine there are some other times of the day to setup here as well. Only thing on the down side is the hazy sky and buildings...wish it were a little clearer.

Hey! What a fun place to get some photos! I like this shot better than the other. Seeing more of the runoff lends a leading line into the image, and the brick wall facing the sun is better exposed in this shot. Very cool!

Very interesting place. I like the way the hillside angles from top right to bottom left...a nice natural leading line. Captured some sun rays coming thru the clouds also. Cool. ;^)
