Perhaps if the background were more white this image would have more impact. I'm not getting the 'Magic' or 'Mystery' connection. What is this object? Looks like a letter opener? Is there some meaning to the title that I'm missing that tells the viewer what this image is about. Sorry, not trying to be rude, just really don't get the approach taken here...

I'm not quite sure how this image fits into the challenge theme. The first thing I think of is 'Loch Ness' when I see this. ;^) The second thing that comes to mind is fuzzy/blurry - is that part of the 'Mystery'? Hopefully there is something in the photographer's comments for this that will clarify it some after the challenge is over. Good luck in the challenge.

I really like this. Fits the theme well, tells a story, and is an image worthy of keeping in your portfolio when the challenge is over. If you get rid of the trademarked brand names (Weekender and Petz) you could probably sell this as a stock image.
