Orange Cream Dreamby mangymooseComment: Potential here. Lighting is a little harsh on the left and the can doesn't come across as being sharply focused (I think it's the glare making the can look blurry/non-focused). The drippy thing up top seems to be part of the story but I'm not sure what it is. Is it related to the box in the back? |

Red-dy for THE taste ?by KatheComment: Something about the color combination here that weakens the initial impact. I think the yellow background is competing too strongly with the red for attention and the green is getting a back seat when the lime slice should be front and center. Did you look at it with a white background, even a royal blue maybe? Just a thought. I like the way you've put this together. The scale and layout is very good. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Beck'sby henningComment: This works well as an advertisement. Comes across as cool and refreshing. Put this on a billboard on a hot day and I'd be looking for one. :D Well done. Good luck in the challenge. |

Sometimes One Just Isn't Enoughby nards656Comment: Nice concept. Hard to pull this off with straws the length as they are because they fall out of the focal plane (ends of the straws aren't in focus). A pair of scissors or a taller glass would have helped. Your choice of subject positioning is good overall and the straws do create a nice slightly horizontal line lead-in to the glass. Good luck in the challenge. |

It's the Real Thingby Jaded_HousewifeComment: You did a nice job putting this together overall compositionally. The background seam in the lower left is an unfortunate distraction. The image could stand to be rotated clockwise a little (couple degrees) - the coke bottle should be straight vertically. Very close here. Attention to the details can make or break an image sometimes, especially DPChallenge entries! :D Good luck in the challenge. |

Ahhhhhhhhhh!by meganoComment: Yikes. If that is really 7-Up, what a sticky mess. :D It's a fun shot, I think the garage door background takes away from this. A hilltop with blue sky behind him maybe? Just a thought. Good luck in the challenge. |

Day 4 Dominoby UNCLEBROComment: Amazing. I had a cat that could be Domino's twin! We called him HiTop because it looked like he was wearing HiTop sneakers with his white markings on his paws.
Was he near a window or a lamp when you took this photo? You have two color temps going on. On the right the color looks balanced to white, on the left his fur and whiskers have a warm color cast. No big deal, just an observation. :D
Take care! |

by GnarfComment: A very interesting gentleman to look at, and I imagine fun to talk with as well. Nice job of isolating your subject from the background with your lens/aperture selection. Have you took a look at boosting the black in this just a little? Great shot! |
