Starting a New Familyby TransitComment: Cute! I think it's a boy, and he's going to look like his Dad. :-) Nice job of putting this together (composition, lighting, exposure, background, etc...). Good luck in the challenge. |

lust for emotionby gorefiendComment: Took a second to figure out the reflection in the "mirror". Very clever. Nice setup also. Hopefully others will figure out that the focus is meant to be on the mirror and not so much on Woody. Nice use of tones also BTW. Good luck in the challenge. |

Ready for his closeupby MelethiaComment: Stark, very "artsy". Like the tones you've used and the extreme lighting and contrast. Quite different from the other entries in this challenge. It will be interesting to see the voters' reaction. I, for one, like it! :-) Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

despair by tcmartinComment: It looks so "real"! Amazing how an inanimate human-formed object can express "emotion". Great job of posing Woody and kudos also for a perfect background and lighting setup to go with it. Well done! |

"Sitting On The Fence" with a friendby SammieComment: That's one small duck! The time of day that you chose to take this photo gives it a nice warm light that works well with the wood grain of the fence (and Woody). Even the tones of the blurred background add to the image overall. Only complaint (minor) I have is why the duck?! Flowers, miniature doll...something. I know, it's a Woody photo for crying out loud, but the duck takes something away from the impact - integrity maybe? Well, it's all tongue-in-cheek anyway. Nicely done overall. Best of luck to you in the challenge. :-) |

I'm Free!by GT350Comment: Simple, yet effective. The title fits well and even helps put an "emotive" expression on Woody's "face". The positioning of the subject and props work well in this photo (not too centered, nothing distracting, etc...). Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

"Mom?"by Jaded_HousewifeComment: This gave me a chuckle as soon as I saw it. :-) Good thing Woody doesn't really know Mom's demise! I can imagine some of the comments you're getting..."Frame doesn't work for me", "Subject too centered, should have cropped out the right", "Sky is blown out". Hopefully others will have enjoyed it as I have. One of my top picks. Good luck! |

Kung Fu Woodyby william88Comment: Cute, clever, and well put together. The shadows on the background lend even more credibility to your composition. I'm thinking you positioned the woody figures in front of a print, cloned out any supporting wires/lines, etc...? Regardless, it's a fun photo to look at. Congrats on a job well done! |

wooden chairby MardukulComment: Oh YUCK! I really didn't need to see this. Did you miss the part about the challenge being about Woody, you know the wooden stick figure usually found in art supply stores? Hmmm...well, I'll give you 1 point for taking up a slot in this challenge. Technically, as a photograph it's done well (lighting, composition, etc...) - just think it's WAY out of place for this challenge. Good luck. |

You and me, we are friends, aren't we ?by RUEDISCHMUTZComment: Very nice image, and cute title to go with it. Great choice of background with the log ends showing. Crisp and well focused on Woody and the ax head/handle. Well done! One of my top picks for this challenge. Good luck! |
