Water sports...by TerramarComment: Nice photo. Great capture with the waves, nice detail on the spray and didn't overexpose. A bit of noise in the sky. Looks (to me anyway) that you did some post-processing and selected/layered the water and sky individually. Can see a distinct halo/line at the horizons edge that I wouldn't think is naturally occurring. |

I Don't Wanna Grow Upby jamminjjComment: I like the composition. The image appears a bit soft, should see more detail in the fur. Being an advanced editing challenge you may have tried selecting the giraffe, inverting, then blurring the background some more. |

camouflageby clictacameraComment: Good job not scaring your subjects away when taking the photo. ;^) Looks like you had some moisture on the lens? For the challenge that the photo was submitted I think the subject is a bit shallow and the tonal range is a bit limited. Something else to consider is the composition; a general rule (not an absolute) is to off-center your subject. The birds are centered vertically and horizontally in this image. Your focus goes to the birds and there isn't anything else to draw your interest into the remainder of the photo. Keep having fun! |

Rock Medic, Client's View?by GeneralEComment: Paul - I wouldn't have the gonads to have entered this shot, but I like the concept. WAY too many others didn't...guess they are the ones that don't believe in reading titles. ;^) Keep having fun! |

Feather in the windby nicklevyComment: Ok...I'm here because I wanted to see what the fuss was about (your thread 'Unfair voting'). I think the composition is ok, the lighting is good, and the focus/detail is right on. I do tend to agree with another commenter 'arpita' that the first place the eyes wander to is the face and facial hair (she had a typo - sutblle). The feather seems like a secondary subject. Not sure that I have any suggestions on how it could have composed differently...sorry. I am curious to see if you find my comment helpful, seeing as you didn't find the comment from 'arpita' worthy. Was it because hers was negative? |

we 3 dudesby denitoComment: First thing I thought was pushing the digital zoom out a bit too far - hence the noise. Guess it was the tight cropping. I do find it interesting that out of 19 comments thus far, you only find one helpful? |

The Singerby bongoComment: Looks like a G7th - might want to tuck that thumb under for better leverage. :P Have to take your word on being 'The Singer'. Nice B/W. |
