Color is very vivid, and comosition is good too. It is a little noisy in some of the darker places, but the grittiness adds to the mood. Some of it is from overcompression.

Mavica FD? You're overcompressing, and that is almost never a good thing. I don't know your camera type, I'm only guessing at the Mavica FD thing because they're notorious for over compressing. Definitely look into JPEG compression, starting from what your camera saves to what your image editor does. It's a great image otherwise (except I might crop out the top blackness)

I think the pohot would be better if both the flower and trash were is focus, or if the flowers were in focus, and the trash in the background was "ruining" your flower shot. That's the first thing that pops into my head when I see this shot, the garbage ruining a shot, which would be perfect for the challenge.

Big compression problem here. It's only 12k, you can go up to 150k! It might be a camera limitation though. This would be very good if it weren't overcompressed.

The mountain is beautiful, the fence post is too much of a contrast, and is distracting. I think you just have a balance issue here. Maybe try two shots, one of the fence post, on on the other side of it at the mountain, and I'll bet you'll have two great shots.
