The shot is busy. IMO everything on the left should be cropped out. Put the tree in the extreme left of the shot and the boy 1/3 of the way in and down. Think "rule of thirds." It is too bad the sky is not more interesting.

I like the concept. The sun, rays and sky are excellent. The light on the curtains and frame is a bit harsh and uneven. The curtains are also cropped in a way that is distracting. I think this should would be better without the curtains. They are too busy for the rest of the image.
