How DO you get these great shots? I guess it's just puting the time and effort in huh? :) I'm yet to get such soft lighting and yet such "real" contrast. Was there (much) contrast/levels adjustment in post editing?

Very nice indeed. Love the lighting -- the clear-cutting must have taken forever. It's perfect.

To my mind, she should be essentially ignoring the snake and apple (as shot.) This portraits perfect comfort and control (high esteem) in a context where the viewer may not be so comfortable at all. I like it.

Is it a real snake by the way. If so, what a poser! :P

I presume the background has been re-colored in post-precess -- to very good effect I might say. What about the hair though? Lighting on the model may be a ltitle too harsh -- Oh! "Glamour. Well fair enough :) (favourites) Very nice.

Hmmm. I would have said the expression was more "I dare you to know me!" sought of thing. I can see a big laughing (perhaps sarcastic) smile breaking out from this pose just seconds later. In any case, it's a cool shot.

It really is a lovely shot. Expression, lighting, softness with clairty, etc. Something about hte left hand keeps drawing my eye away. perhaps it looks as though it should be falling off the chair back? But hey... real nice shot.
