Sophisticated Travestyby xtabintunComment: Looks like a pretty standard stage prop model to me. Checking dictioanry... nope, no mention of "art" for "prop" or "stage." You might make it to the finish line this time. :) Good luck! |

September by moodvilleComment: Congrats!
Can you tell us, was there any type of lens filter used for this shot? Thanks. |

Doggie Days - August - Dachshund by smokeditorComment: How can we argue with those eyes!? Beautifully captured expression. The dog is really "communicating" with the camera. Negative space and cropping is perfect for this shot imo. Focus on eyes rather than nose well executed. 9. :) |

September: "Fenced"by dartompkinsComment: This is lovely. It's the most emotive looking horse shot I've seen, probably ever.
There is communication captured and and cropped wonderfully here. It's brilliant. Just a wee bit too much post constrat perhps? (My LCD monitor, though well calibrated, is unforgiving of such things ). An easy 9. Good luck! |

Novemberby JackoComment: Very nice and right on target for the challenge. Exposure and color balance is great. Depth is good but seems a little ruined by the near-right tree. Perhaps if this were framed against the right border so as to break symetry with the narrow and more distant foreground tree to the left? Sheesh! Does that make any sesne? LOL.
Anyway... enjoy your 9, you deserve it! :) |

November Stormby mariomelComment: Colours, contrast, compostion and cropping here are all excellent, imho.
I want to get in before the "frame sqaud" by saying the frame really des set this photo off, especially considering the DPC neutral background and envisaged flat white callendar paper. 10, good luck! |
