Stonesby vaguiloComment: My, my. This is the second great photo in a row I have seen. And just stones. A single one gets a three from me, bunch a whole bunch of them gets a nine. Of course it's not just the amount of them. :) |

gallery by undieyatchComment: My word. I daresay this is one of the coolest pictures I've even seen here. At first I though you broke the rules by adding text to your picture, when I realized the were HANGING there. What fantastic architechture and design. The image has the quality of being naturally black and white, without being converted to such. The words, the depth of field, reflections on the floor, the texture of the floors and walls, the dark suited woman walking alone with her bags. This is a stunner, my friend, and I know it will do well. I almost wonder how it would look I you snapped the photo more to the left or from the end of the hall. I would love to see the inside of this place. (10) |

Late Night Talksby TerryGeeComment: Now I really like this one. It tells a story, allowing me to fill in the details with my imagination. What reason would a man have for using a cell phone in a phone booth? There must be some imminent danger and he cannot risked being heard. His expression is slightly exasperated, either because the photographer is taking too long, he doesn't like being photographed without being asked, or he's waiting for his friend on the other line some he can ask to be picked up at Sixth and Main in about five mintues because Maven's goons are out looking for him.

Midnight Snackby StevePaxComment: Intestesting and tasty looking. I can almost feel the crispness of them. This is a pleasing image to the eyes, but not particuarly striking for me. (6) |

Little modelby DmaskezeComment: Look at the fluffy little kitty. Seriously, that is the only thing I think of when I see most cat pictures. And I can not rate you highly simply because I like cats. (4) |

Where There"s Smoke There's Fireby Kathryn8Comment: Ah, someone thought you a cheater. I must be rewarding to know that someone wasted their effort trying to get you disqualified. :) That said, I don't really enjoy flames or artistic depictions of them, and certainly not in b/w. (4) |

Columns of Justiceby dtoombsComment: Ah, good show. I like the shadows, the contrasts, the variety of shapes and the depth of field. Yes, this should do very well indeed. (9) |

MTV generation..."Oh my god, I am soooo fat"by DogAngelComment: Well composed. I hopes you asked your model to pack on a few pounds. It is the sad story of many of you nation's youth. However, I think that was a trend that peaked in the nineties and is slowly beginning to reverse itself, at least in my neck of the woods. There are far more overweight citizens than underwieght, I'd wager. Beyonce, JLO, and the rest of the booty-generation helped us all realize there's nothing wrong with a bit of cargo in the back seat. (7) |
