McFreedomby mirrormimicComment: Nice picture of flags. It would have been more interesting and made more of a statement if the McDonald's flag would have been on top of the American flag. The reds are a little oversaturated I think. So is the flag blue. |

Carly.by jessy_pesceComment: I like the softness of this portrait. Nice skin. It's good to see that it is not overworked. Maybe a little bit of brightening would help but I don't know. Maybe a bit of vignette darkening on the left side or lower left side would help. Overall with a frame I think this is OK. |

Ghostly Passageby RosacalacaComment: Doesn't quite meet its potential. Maybe a square crop would help--- taking out about a fourth on the left side. Then maybe some subtle dark vignetting to direct the attention to the brighter misty center of the picture. the color seems to be a little washed out. this is a difficult shot to make something really good out of since there is little form to work with. |

Kansas Goldby brizmamaComment: Nice picture for an ad. Plenty of space for copy at the top and middle. But, don't like the large blurred flower in the forground. |

Ground Fog in Fallby Faye PekasComment: OK, nice misty morning. I don't know but maybe the fence post is too distracting. What is the subject of this photo. The fog? The fence post? the distant barn, the field, the distant trees? I would have liked to see the color version of this; I don't think this works as a black and white. I think that a long landscape cropping of this to include just the distant hills, trees, fog, field and barn with some cloning out of the top of the fence post would help this picture. I think that this is one that could be made into a spectacular misty atmospheric color photograph. |

Tables and Chairsby sfaliceComment: Interesting. Good composition. A little overprocessed but good for what it is. Good in black and white. |

Sanctuary (Oatmeal, Water, & A Sturdy HP Officejet Pro Box To Hide In)by TerramarComment: Yes, I like these pictures of kids in boxes. This one is good. Sharp focus and good composition. I like the color adjustment too. I'm a little disturbed by the bright opening at the bottom. It seems to be just floating out there almost like a hotdog. Maybe it would have been better without this spot. Maybe a little more cropping at the bottom would have helped, but overall I like this one. |

Tiger Lilyby macleodnComment: OK. I would have used a little dodging on the stamens of the flower and perhaps used a little bit of a dark or light vignette. Sometimes I use a gradient layer at the top of these flower shots in some complimentary color and fade it down, then bringing back most of the flower from the underlying layer. sometimes two separate gradient layers in different colors, one at the top and one at the bottom work for the shot. I think it sometimes gives a nice hazy soft light filled background to the composition. The composition is good. |
