"Kissed by the wind"by magueroComment: IMO, the use of negative space is effective here, but could have been more effective in a full square crop. Why? because the nature of the flower is round, so providing a frame for what 'could' have been there emphasizes what is missing even more. Again that's IMO. And this crop is not uneffective at all. |

This would be better if it were cropped down to place the dog's eyes on the top third with just a small patch of light in the top right hand corner. This accentuates the eyes/face/expression and would increase the DPC display size. |

At the encampment's edgeby MilesWComment: excellent capture of mr lion, but would have benefited from one of those 'highly dramatic vignetting' treatments imho. Also a very slight crop down.
