Which Way?by harryindrawanComment: Decision = Spider? Lost me. The title is the only link I can make to a decision in the whole. As an image the capture is nice and sharp on the subject but the dof has had the unfortunate effect of making the left side seem way overexposed. I like the grainyness and texture, but feel the centered positioning of the spider also detracts from the whole. I can only offer a 3 compared to other images that have shared their story of decision in a more obvious manner. |

Where to?by sangeethComment: Blue sky and a weathervane. This image fails to invoke any sense of decision to this viewer and yet I am challenged to wonder if it is a spiritual decision or a directional decision that the artist has tried to convey through the title. Alone I find that I have no desire to return to the image, nor has it a story to tell me about decisions beyond the possibility which I have already mentioned. A stretch for me on the challenge but a potential that redeems it somewhat, I can only offer a 4 compared to other entries. |

sink or stand?by FigoComment: A great illusion and potentially an allusion (walking on water is a challenge of faith and for many a decision point). That said, alone this image does not tell me a story of a decision. It is to me more a triumph of light and shadow to illustrate an illusion or perhaps only an image of a young man standing on a rock just below the surface. Well shot, it has little interest factor after identifying the pedistal he stands on. I can only offer a 4 compared to other challenge entries. |

get undressed before kill yourselfby pinkorgasmComment: Someone derobing. This does not say 'decision' to me. The image's title is the only link and I cannot overlook that this image has failed without the wording to communicate 'decision' to me. It is an interesting capture due to the reflection that may or may not be a balcony that he is planning to jump from, but it is mostly lost in shadow, highlight or the texture of the blinds so as not to be clearly understood. The presence of the overhead light and the small size of the image have also hurt the efforts to tell the story. I can only offer a 3 compared to others in the challenge that have better communicated to me the idea of 'decision' |

A Decision to Serveby bobdaveantComment: To choose to serve. An honorable decision, however this image does not alone invoke that decision. It tells me a story of honor, recognition, memory. It is a well shot and processed image, but a weak link to 'decision' that to me would have been better (militarily) posed by a young man or woman approaching a recruiting office. I can only offer a 4 compared to other images that seem to communicate the decision in a more obvious manner. |

Honors On The 1st Tee-Boxby afiver9Comment: Perhaps it is my lack of knowledge in golf, I cannot link the image of grass, feet, club and ball with decision. Perhaps the tee which is not near the ball indicates that the golfer has made a decision about how to play, but I am lost to have this image tell me if that is only a random thought or the truth. The elements are too far from each other to grant a high level of interest. I can only offer a 3 compared to the other contenders in this challenge. |

Wings on flowerby bkvelComment: Alone this image displays no link to the challenge whatsoever to this viewer. It is a very nice capture of a flower, the detail sings and the lighting offers some interest, but I cannot rate it high compared to other images that have such strong communicaton of the 'decision'. I offer a 4. |

Wrong Decisionby DiscraftComment: Something of an abstract statement. Without the title I would say this focus is the burning cig or possibly the lip stud. Alone it does not communicate decision to me at all. It is not ugly enough to politically tell me that smoking is bad or undesireable. A well shot image that falls short in the concept but would do well with text added into the negative space, forcing it into a public service announcement or ad. I must rate this a 3 against other contenders in this challenge. |

What's for Breakfastby chisholmsmithComment: This image does not communicate to me 'decision'. I see a cow? being fed. The horizontal in the background is noticably off, but this neither seems to detract or add to the image itself. The rail in the foreground however is an element that does seriously detract from the image. The crop neither hurts nor helps the image. I rate this a 3 against the other contenders in this challenge. |

Fast decisionby StructorComment: A nice capture of a motion blurred car against a sunset backdrop made of rich and inviting colors. The crop adds greatly to the interest level, but the image alone does not invoke a sense of decision or decision-making. This is an image that alone offers much so for technicals I will rate this to a 4 with what I feel is a such a weak link to the communication of 'decision'. |
