MacroMarch_day1.jpgby hyperfocalComment: I like the use of the repetitive flower. Overall it comes off too dark. The detail is nice and crisp. Would have liked to seen the complementary color as the background as opposed to the more brownish choice you have here. |

Reflectionby ShaneBlakeComment: I personally like the crop including the green 'chop'. The soft reflection is nice, but too grey for my tastes. Great detail on the center. |

Cold Steelby LonzComment: Very harsh light on this one. Direct flash may be the reason. Have to bounce the light off many sides or send through a white sheet to evenly illuminate the steel without producing flash reflections. With your current portfolio, I am frankly surprised that you chose this image to start with. Message edited by author 2008-03-01 20:31:19. |

-2.jpgby GotakaComment: Very romantic image. Excellent! The baby's breath works miracles to keep some depth on an all white background. |

Day 1: Baselineby EstimatedEyesComment: Great first day and great idea. At the end of the month, you should take all that you have learned, return to this plant with tripod, extender tubes, reflectors and a reversed lens macro ring and get really close up. I would have thought those were spider legs without the wide angle of reference. |

Fall Colorsby kteachComment: Beautiful image. Did you use a polarizer to nab the color or was this adjusted in PS? Love the inclusion of the lilypads, they make the picture. |

main-02-03-08-5431.jpgby fixedintimeComment: I like this a lot. You could easily put some sharp on it and make it pop with a highpass or USM treatment. Wondering what would happen to the whole if you used a black point (set curve black) on the bench and then set white point on the wall? The perspective is fine. Not being centered adds a tons of uniqueness to this. Great shot. |
