I like narrow DOF, but this is a litle excessive. The ribbon (or is it fettucine? - I can't tell!) is wasted, because none of it is in focus. Nice B/W tones, and a good (though not unique) interpretation of the challenge.

A nice b/w shot. I like the framing provided by the two trees, but would have liked a little more DOF so that the left one isn't out of focus. Good job.

I'm not a golfer, so I suspect much of this picture is lost on me.
That aside, it's an interesting concept, and I can imagine the time you must have put into the setup. The skin tones and bat seem a little washed out.

I'm not really sure what's going on here, which is a shame, because it looks like there's an interesting story being told. I'm not sure how well "broken" is conveyed as a result.
