Beautiful subject! Maybe you could have gotten closer for a more specific texture (i.e. his fur, his slobbery tounge, his wet nose!) Keep up the good work!

I think a little less of the foreground should be out of focus. It seems a bit top-heavy, in my opinion. Great subject!

The ONLY thing I would change is to crop out the pieces in the top right corner. I think it would make your linear composition stronger. (But that's just my opinion) Great color and beautiful lighting!
