Great fit with challenge. I don't feel a natural path for the eye, though I feel the center of focus as the closest boy's head. Maybe some interesting cropping could give the shot a little more punch.

This idea is a little difficult to connect with the challenge. Maybe an alternate subject or additional subjects could bring out the message better.
