No flash, I used a flashlight throughout a 57 second exposure and it was nearly dark outside. I'd say I met the challenge better than most because I used a "non-stationary light source" to "illuminate my subject." Most people made the non-stationary light their subject.

You used the flash? It's a beautiful shot, but it seems you lit your main subject with a flash.

Hey, this is the same view I used in the Postcard challenge! Great shot with the people and I love the purple and red tones.

Thanks! El Capitan is located just right of the frame. I stacked a couple of graduated neutral density filters to keep the real and the reflected properly exposed.

Absolutely beautiful! I'm in awe (and a bit jealous I have to admit). Great timing on the lighting for this. It's funny how those reflections work when the angle and height of the camera can really alter what's reflected (i.e. - the height of the tree in the bottom right reflection appears taller than the background mountain, but not the "right side-up" part of it). I also like how you've maintained the deep blue in both the top and bottom sections of this image. Anyway, well done and congratulations in advance on what should be a fine score. :D
