High Flyersby HeavyComment: One of the best shots I've seen of flying aircraft (and not just in this challenge... but ever!) (7) |

The big leap.by marvinComment: Ideal shot for the challenge! (7 for now, this one will likely receive a bump on the 2nd go round). |

Butterfliesby rsaulyteComment: Oh wow, great colors. I like the edges of the butterfly wings being tinged in yellow, and how it complements the flowers so very well. Perfect focus, with such a shallow depth of field. Wish you had included the camera and settings. Look at the tongue of the guy on the right! |

Bath Boyby oOWonderBreadOoComment: Great family album shot! Wonderfully playful, such an innocent, happy face. B/W is right for this IMO. |

Horizonsby LadeeMComment: Interesting shot... if I just ran across this and didn't know they were vacation pics, I would wonder what she is thinking about, hmm... I like the "4 corners" effect with Brenna, the underwater ramp at lower right, and the small clouds in the top corners, with the vast, uniform water of the Great Lake dominating the center. If you look real close, the cloud at top left is subtly reflected in the water and leads your eye down to your daughter. Really interesting shot, IMO. |

The Roadby puzzledComment: Really like this one puzzled. The sharpness (graininess, you called it in the thread) adds to it IMO. Especially like that the road is outlined with the reflectors, they look like dots on the sides. Great geometrical symmetry with the guard rails, the reflectors, the pavement, the yellow grass in the ditches, and the green fields on both sides, leading beautifully from bottom left into the earth at top right. That's my take! |
