Down thereby heidaComment: Is that possibly Heidi (klum?) Anyway a good shot, not really taking my breath away though but it´s technically flawless so it´s hard not to give you a 9 anyways. Good luck in the challenge. |

Watch your speed!by kemilgComment: Not a bad shot, love the b/w but I am not sure of what people that don´t speak Icelandic will make of the sign since there are no international marks on it.

No Outletby taterbugComment: Good idea, but the image quality is letting you down here. To be specific the blown out sky behind him is really a killer here, along with a very odd look on the snow behind him, it seems textureless and has an odd colour.
Anyway, love his expression, it´s like he´s waiting for an electritian to fix his problem or something and it´s a good idea like I said before. Next time you could try to measure the exposure with the sky in mind and if it´s too bright, try taking it at another time of day to eliminate the blown out sky. |

Shift the Futureby scudsComment: Good idea, but the image quality is really suffering in this shot, it has too many highlights and some pretty horrible artefacts above the highlighted cloud and the sign itself seems a bit out of focus and the lighting of it isn´t very flattering. Keep on experimenting though, you are on the right track so don´t get discouraged. |

Walking on Airby yael27Comment: Excellent use of negative space, it´s still not a "wow" shot for me personally but I still like it a lot, gave it an 8. |

Snow Emergencyby canyoncatComment: Cool shot, like the use of a fisheye effect here but the foreground is a bit dull and uninteresting, I would have loved to see a shot that included the treetops and less foreground. (6) |

Catch Me If You Canby arnitComment: What the hell??? Why didn´t this place higher? Rediculous! I didn´t vote in this challenge and this is the first time I have seen it, I would have given it a 10 easily. I just think this is an awesome show of control of light. |

The Flagrant Crossing by CutterComment: I know this is the theme of the challenge, to take a picture of a road sign but here I feel that you took a picture of a beautiful sunset and that stupid sign is in the way and I think it should be the other way around, the sign be the main subject and the backround just that, a backround.
Anyway don´t get me wrong, it´s still a good shot and one of the better in the challenge so I gave it a 7. The sunset itself in another challenge like a free study and withouth the sign I would have probably given 9 or a 10, it looks stunning. |
