A nice tribute to "cowspace" that was in negative space a while ago and one of the favorites on the site. Anyway, needs something more to make me gaze in wonderment but it´s very nice and I gave it a 7, I especially like the offbeat composition and the way that he is heading out of the frame instead of into the frame as is the "rule".

Ohh... The thumbnail looked so very promising but the image quality is pretty bad in this image so I rated it fairly low. The composition is pretty good though and I like the purple colour but the noise is just dreadful and it is just frankly lacking in picture quality. Did you resize it yourself? If no, then you should probably look at the tutorial on how to prepare your shot for challenges and how to use save for web. If yes and if you meant this shot to be this way then just ignore me for it is simply not to my taste. Good effort though.

Very nice composition and sharpness, spot on with just about everything but too bad about the flare up in the left and right corner of the shot, I know this is with the basic editing rules so nothing you could have done about it but use a lens hood (or something else to block out the flare) but the fact is that the flare is there and it hurts the image Still pretty good and better than most images in the challenge.

Not a bad idea but the backround is irritatingly drawing way too much attention. IMHO you either need a bigger aperture or a longher focal length to decrease the DOF to not include the backround as much or a smaller aperture to include all of it. As it is you can make out way too much about the backround but still not enough to make out details and that really draws the eye away from the fly. Better luck next time.

Pretty good shot, good DOF and colours are quite good. However, I have seen so many similar Peacock shots that this isn´t particularly interesting for me personally. You need something original to appeal to me but still very well done technically and the composition is good so I gave it a 7.

Hehe, good idea and it would actually work as a commercial IMHO as it would undoubtedly draw attention as a billboard. Anyway, seems a little flat, could use a little boost in contrast but other than that, very good indeed. (8)

Composition way too centered for my taste but otherwise, not bad at all. Still needs something to really make it shine, perhaps next time you could try a polarizer to decrease the reflection in the water to try and bring some depth into the texture of the water? Just an idea anyway. Good job but not great either, would have ranked it higher if you had cropped away the bottom and right side and placed the duck according to the rule of thirds but I still gave it a 6 like it is, nice capture.

I am not going to lie to you, the frame bothers me but I did my best to look past that and judge the shot, not the frame. Anyway, this shot works for well me, the halo really adds something to this shot and there is pretty much nothing bad I can say abuot this shot other than whatever that thing is in the right corner doesn´t help the shot IMHO. Gave it an 8, I like it.

Awesome shot, though still not a 10 from me but a 9 easily, nothing really that I can say more than that but good job and hope you do well in the challenge.
