Explosive

I like that you tried to capture an explosion on the ground but this is just not cutting it for me, when you get right down to it this photo basically just consist´s of smoke, a blown highlight and black all around it and that is just not very interesting to me. Had you captured the flames or split second it exploded in a macro fashion or something like that, now THAT would have impressed me but this I voted a 4. Nice try though but you can do better :)

Not really getting the point of having Iceland in the title but who cares :) Find this neither good nor bad, I like that you have a foreground but the fireworks themselves are not really all that impressive compared to most shot´s here. Also I would have liked it better if the sky wasn´t so "gray", or low contrast. 5

Well not bad, I like the city lights in the frame, I do dislike the pretty blown highlights of the fireworks but nothing terrible, also I would have preferred to see the top of them and the building that is half out of the frame to the left is also maybe something I would have framed out of the photo. This actually would probably have appealed more to me if it were shot in portrait mode. Nice shot though, gave it a 6.

Sorry but for me this is just not a very interesting photo. First off it´s black and white wich means no interesting colors as what is so good about fireworks in the first place. Secondly there is almost nothing to make out in the shot, just a lightpole in the backorund and that´s about it. Thus I voted 3.
