I have never taken photos of a propeller plane but there is a certain shutterspeed wich you have to stay under so you don´t freeze the propeller like that, photos of propeller planes always look so much better when they are moving, you might want to keep that in mind next time.

Just in case you didn´t check your histogram, the bottom left corner highlights are blown to bits and also that persons nose but I don´t really find it distracting, the composition works well to draw my eye first to the dog and then the person. 6 from me.

Well this shot is hardly bad but when submitting, you got to ask yourself, what about my photo will make people want to vote more than a 5? I just get a very "snapshottish" vibe from it like it doesn´t seem to be very well thought out and was taken in a hurry to get something into the challenge, that flash lighting doesn´t help in that regard.

Not bad but I feel the focus could be a bit stronger on the couple, as well as the light falling on them isn´t making them very distinct against that backround, did you try very faint fill lighting from the side on them?
