Boredom in this sense is always GOOD, that's what we tell my sister who is over there . . .

Nice shot. There are a lot of lines in this photo that are note level/straight which gives this a kind of off balanced look, I think it adds to the sense of boredom.

And a Bit of Sky

Wow! Really great shot! There is almost an optical illusion (until you scroll down, or eye gets down far enough to see the window on the bottom) that the building is rising on the left and right and you are looking straight out from a balcony. At first it just appears like an OK photo, but then the eye starts to decipher all the lines, most importantly those which frame the sky (great composition). This is one of my favorites that I have seen not only in this challenge, but overall. Good job!

Adorable. Knowing people in their 20s that still have their stuffed animals, that bear is going to outlast many other "best" friends.

Point #1: Not over tweaked. Point #2: Doesn't violate the rules. Editing rules, and I quote:

"Any modification done inside the digital camera itself is considered acceptable for challenge submission."

"Post-shot Adjustments may be made to your image in a photo editing program, so long as the modification is applied to the whole image. This includes levels, conversion to black and white, hue/saturation, sizing/rotating, curves and cropping [...]."

The effect you see is solarization, done IN camera (and a surrealist technique). Shadows were red, so I adjusted the red level to turn it black and slightly adjusted green curves. All this is legal OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE BEEN DQ-ed!! So, essentially what I'm saying is you are wrong.

Wow! Great photo! The only critique I would make is your reflection in her eyes, which often is seen as a technical error. Although, in this photo (given the title) it can also have the positive effect showing you as part of her soul, in her soul, part of her, etc. Or, it gives the viewer the sense that they are looking at her in person. Either way, good shot!

Dr. Jones, I have browsed through a lot of photos now and have seen many of yours. I must say this is by far your best nude, in my opinion at least.
