Salt Of The Earthby naomikComment: Interesting b&w. I like what you've done with the color of the hands...very rough and worn looking. Salt is a little over exposed. This should do pretty well. |

Auspicious Colours (of Asia)by kbhatia1967Comment: Intense colors. I like the way you've framed the photo. Maybe a little over-saturated but still nice. Just looking at this makes you want to reach for a glass of water. |

Making Dustby eaglebeckComment: Perfect light for this photo, especially on the ground nad throughout the dust. Nice action shot, great crop. Should do very well. |

Sweet Lipsby jumpedthesnarkComment: Sexy photo, nice idea. Would have preferred to see this at the full 640 pixel size which undoubtedly others have told you by now. |

Akshya Patraby sandeepviswaComment: I don't see how this photo will do well in this particular challenge, though it certainly is a beautiful photo. Very soft, very warm with great use of light. Just don't think it conveys "granular" enough to do well. |

Cleaning the wheat from husks by XileboComment: I like this very much. Nice colors, nice composition and you froze the action perfectly. I would have loved to see the bowl be more organic, like wood or stone but that's of course no big deal. |

Falling grainsby pmottaComment: Very nice idea and nice, warm earth tone colors as well. I like the shallow dof too. Very nice. |

Green Genesby JesuispeureComment: You have a stunning little model here, you're sure to make some great photos of her in the future.
My idea to change this photo:
Have her lay down on her back with strong, diffused light in the room or outdoors. Completely surround her head with green apples so just her face is popping through. Shoot with a deep dof, maybe F/16 so everything is in complete focus and there you go. Just an idea for a re-shoot if you wanted to try it. |
