nov 084sm.jpgby Patents4uComment: I really like this image. The rim light from behind adds interest and depth and her expression comes off as very real. |

the light looks nice, esp for DIY! |
All very good points and yes those hair ties drive me crazy. I almost never notice them until I'm in post. |

morning arrivesby NusbaumComment: Originally posted by jdannels: wow, great use of diffused light. Did you use a reflector also? real beauty of a shot. |
No reflector on this one. Just a slightly overcast morning that produced amazing natural light. |

Sydneyby njsabsComment: Wonderful shot. Great expression in the face and with the hands. Wonderful technique in lighting and processing her eyes. |

Ice Princessby JedusiComment: I love this portrait. The cool tone, blue background and deep blue eyes work perfect and add a nice winter feeling. The lighting is just perfect as well. Nothing bad to say or recommendation to make. |

Jocilynnby njsabsComment: I almost flew by this one, but then I scrolled down and saw the cross and chain draped across her hands. Assuming that her faith is very important to her, the addition and highlighting of the cross really adds to the story. Having her eyes and the cross sharp and highlighted with everything else just a little soft really makes a point. |

Kaylee 1by timfythetooComment: While the 'tree hugger' shot can be cliche for senior portaits, I'm going to have to say I really like this one. The color are vibrant yet the pose is quiet. The light is very nicely balanced... I'm assuming there was a large reflector or flash since the sun is behind her and acting as a rim light? |

The Final Embraceby JohnnyPhDComment: This is a great photo and I will rate is a such, probably 8-9, but I'm curious about the title. Nothing in the photo explains or suggests anything final, yet the title states "The Final Embrace". Something to suggest final, a subtle prop in the frame but not in focus for example, would really help if you want to tell a story here. Great work... but the title has left me wanting even more.
Thanks for sharing! |
