When I count to three - you will fall asleepby insaneComment: Ha! This is hilarious. I love dogs, and I love your high key photo. I'm sure some will complain that the nose it out of focus, but I believe it adds to the viewer's focus on the eyes. It's like the nose is meant to be blurry precisely because the dog is right in your face! Well done, I'm gonna go show my wife. 9. (I always give out one ten per challenge after I've voted them all, this is good enough to be it, so perhaps a 10...) P.S. - A well chosen title. |

No interpretation needed, he is old and poor!by docpjvComment: The people in the background, while useful for context, are distracting to the actual subject of the photo. This is well captured however, and i like it better than many others i have seen so far. |

"Private Property"by sfarrell23Comment: Good use of noise. Very good. It rarely works for a photo (at least for me) but I like the feel it gives this forboding scene. |

"Poverty in Black and White"by tfarrell23Comment: I didn't get the point of this photo for a minute or two. Newspaper as toilet paper? If so, I don't think this image conveys that message clearly enough. It takes a moment of looking to notice that the newpaper is torn into sheets. (at least for me) Also, given the composition, my eye is drawn to the dark corner in the floor. |

The Missionby redmoonComment: The skewed angle doesn't work for me. And rather than look impoverished, this building just looks old. Still, a good effort was obviously put into this photo. |
