Roxanaby studio1graphicsComment: Good portrait; interesting pose, well cropped picture. I think you used some other (legal) gadgets to get such smooth light. 8 Journey |

man of darknessby heartsdivideComment: I love this image. Powerful. That face haunts me. Love the composition on the diagonal. Don't know what the symbol in the lower left corner represents; it doesn't matter that i don't understand but i would have preferred to see the image without it. It would have been simpler and starker.Funny, this afternoon I did some dark self portraits as well but feared that my one-eyed face wouldn't go over too well at dpc :) 8 for now; will definitely re-visit later. Journey Again, i love this. Update: still my favorite; here's your 10 J. |

Back Lightby bhattiptComment: cool image. too bad about the line in the background, just next to your nose, and the compression (banding). 7 Journey |

Become Wrath by greenem2Comment: Cool image. The detail of the skin on the nose and forehead and in the eye almost makes it look like a Roy Lichtenstein image :) And actually, when you think about, very big emotions tend to become cartoonish, almost a caricature :) Good composition and great choice of cropping. I think I know you well :) 8 Journey |

Fall From Graceby KarenBComment: Powerful image. Good choice of B&W. The pose of the priest is convincing and adds to the theme. What I find terribly, terribly distracting and marring the image is that Boston Globe piece of paper. It is so terribly contrived and it just sits there to tell the viewer the story: but the story is told very well without it by the image and underscored by the title. 7 Journey |

I'm Lust by lmhrComment: Technically a good image. I like the diagonal line of the composition and the "black and white in color". I also like the subtle understatement of the Lust. The only thing I don't like are those black panties. Puritan. They make the image less professional. It would have helped the image greatly if there had been no panties so that one (meaning men) could have the thrill that if they looked closely perhaps they could see something even if there was nothing to see. 9 Journey |
