Good idea, but something bothers me about the two hanging down: if he gets a call from one of them, does the string go horizontal like the one he's using?

I'm no great judge of distance, but I guess it's about 3 metres long. It's over by the far edge of the field, not far from guard rail of the road (which slopes up).
