Nice colors, DOF and idea. I was thinking of doing a similar shot with the word TEXTURE partially embossed so it had texture but I like your idea and execution.

It is amazing how some people on this site, built around being creative, can have no sense of creativity at all. It might stem (no pun intended) from the fact that anyone today can get a good quality camera that will give them nice photos so they instantly think they are an expert.

Sorry you didn't do so well but don't let the closed minded people deter you, this shot has a history and meaning to you so it is great.

Amber you had posted a thread about self - DQ, if this is the image you wanted to DQ I'm glad you didn't. It didn't get a ribbon but still a great picture. I think it is unique and the colors are great. Sorry I didn't vote in this challenge, maybe I could have helped :).

I'm assuming your going for the heavy metal on his shirt...if that is what that is on there. Nice try but your small image hurts you first, then the fact that it doesn't meet the challenge.
