Hmm was my first reaction. The more I look at this the more I like it. I like the blackness and the roof light and the painted effect through the window but I wondered where the red light is coming from, presumably its red carpet? I think if that had been a wooden floor it would have completed it. Good luck

Nice lighting which is what this challenge is all about. I'm sure you'll get some comments about the blue balls in the background but I like the amount of OOF, where I think it could be improved would be to crop tight to the first ball thus eliminating the somewhat distracting foreground branch, just my thoughts, good luck

Classic capture of light fulfils the challenge well, I'm not sure about the posts though, if its part of a pier it may have been better to include it as a strong compositional element.
