What an amazing bird Janine, I̢۪m intrigued to know what it is, presumably an owl of some sort? This is quite different from your normal entry a refreshing and effective portrait. Those eyes are incredible!

May I also add my congratulations Gin Tay, a great result for a great image. What a fascinating place and what a great way to present it. Your composition really emphasises the crowded space reaching up to the freedom of the open skies above. A great mix of colours adds to the interest of the image as a whole. I̢۪m intrigued by the coloured brolly(?) at the top of the lower right of the building. A thoroughly well earned ribbon, thanks for your submission.

As I scrolled down this image you were the last person I expected this entry from, as you say, this is not your normal genre. You̢۪ve made a great job of it Ronnie, the strong colours are a very dynamic backdrop to your very attractive model. I like the rim lighting effect on your model. The whole result is different and appealing it works well.

You̢۪ve made great use of that huge lens Drake! As your commenters have already stated there is a huge amount of detail, looking at your details a bright night too! The cropping emphasises the crater you refer to well, sorry I can̢۪t help with any additional info my moon mapping knowledge is non-existant.

I really like this though evidently the voters didn̢۪t seem to rate it as highly as it deserved. There is a great dynamic to the image, together with the strong colours it has huge visual impact. The composition is good, the image has a very vibrant feel, a very creative result well done Nikki.

Your image and title emphasises the beauty and importance of good light to photography. Your blend of exposures gives a HDR effect that enables you to show the scene in all its glory. Though I am not a fan of this technique, I feel its results are generally too artificial, you have created a strong visual impact, well done.

I like your original thinking behind the concept together with the variety of screw shapes and sizes very nicely lit and reflected in the mirror table top, it all works very well. A very colourful image. I like the radiating colourful patterns within the ornaments. The overall colours are all very appealing. One thing that could have improved it would be the adhesive lumps underneath the ornaments if they could have been a more uniform and smaller shape they would be so obvious especially as they are being reflected in the table surface. Apart from that I think it is quite an appealing image.

This is a great idea Gin Tay. I like your creative approach with your everyday lipstick cleverly combined seamlessly with the lipstick in a very convincing way, it works well. The lighting and background show it off to full advantage, its all been very well executed, well done.
