Street Musicianby yael27Comment: THis is a very nice portrait and nicely photographed, I like the subdued focus for the background and I would vote this a 6.Now looking at this image Ifeel the action is in the top half and personally I would have concentrated on this. Perhaps moving around to the left and with a low angle could have made it more dynamic, and rased my vote,. your subject has an interesting face as well and his expressions whilst playing would make for some interesting compositions,. |

the museby muckpondComment: what an original idea this is simple and to the point.can it be improved ? probably, how? I personally would have the model bend forward so her back is roundedthat way the signs would be more prominant, A more dynamic lighting could help also, however these are only my thoughts and the image would rate 8 if I was voting. |

Violinistby marboComment: Thishas the makings of a great shot, but for me it just misses out. Why? I would like to have seen the fingers sharp, and on the strings as I feel this is where the action is,then let if slide into an out of focus state, with the use of a small {f11 or under) you could have maintained a good depth of field any way, the shallow depth of field you have is just not enough. If I was voting I would give this 4 |

Fifthby UNCLEBROComment: an excellent rendition of the theme I like the way you have the fingers adding movement it raises the image to another level, my onlly niggle are the white keys seem to be burned out a little {on my monitor} if i was voting this is easily an 8 with me, and I am not over generuos.!!! |

recovered0032.jpgby menardmamComment: I think it is an ok shot, THe softishness of it and the tonal range arec good my only niggle is the white area of underwear is a little jarring for me perhaps she could have worn something a little darker or dipensed with it altogether. my 2c if it helps. |
